Summa Vanessae

The title “Summa Vanessae” is a play on Latin words: it can mean either “Vanessa’s Summa” or “summary of Vanessa.” I am a great admirer of St. Thomas Aquinas and his Summa Theologiae. Learning about his great synthesis of faith and reason in theology graduate school was part of what attracted me to the Catholic Church. It is, of course, ridiculously presumptuous to name my website after the Angelic Doctor’s theological masterpiece; I mean only to honor St. Thomas Aquinas by referring to him and his work.
